Port Clinton Music Booster

Minutes: 6/6/06

Time: 6:30 pm.

Attendance: Present Treasurer: Marcia Bloom, Present President: Chris Harris, and newly elected officers: President: Kim Royser, Vice President: Amy Krupp, Treasurer: Robert Dodge, and Secretary Gloria Alvarado.

Treasurer: Marcia Bloom opened the meeting.

The Treasurers report was presented by Marcia Bloom. Marcia explained how the budget was divided and that the Music Boosters had a remaining balance of $5,000 to be budgeted before proceeding with the new budget for 2006/2007. Chris Harris mentioned that every year $4,000  should be put into the New Band Uniform funds, uniforms are old and would need to be replaced soon. All agreed to place $3,800 of the $5,000 balance in the funds for the uniforms. In addition Mr. Dodge mentioned that he had collected all of the band uniforms and were ready for cleaning. Which brought up the cost of cleaning. The remaining balance of $1,200 will be used for cleaning of the uniforms.  Marcia Bloom proceeded on disbursing monies for the up coming year, with compliance of the newly elected officials. She mentioned that the audit once again this year would be handled by Mr. Celek, and that on June 19, 2006 she will present the new budget for 2006/2007.

There was a question on officers that would have to be bonded. Marcia said that Bob Dodge and Carol Fox, and a call to Frederick’s Insurance would need to be done to add Bob and Carol. Amy Krupp volunteered to handle that task.

Bob Dodge asked Marcia Bloom when he took office, her reply was July 1, 2006, end of her fiscal year. Kim Royser requested all materials that Marcia had in her possession for commencing the Music Boosters Membership Drive.

Meeting adjourned at 9:30 pm. Motioned was made by Marcia Bloom seconded by Bob Dodge.
